Directions

In a large bowl whisk together warm milk, sugar and melted butter.  Mixture should be warm (between 100-110 degrees F).  Sprinkle yeast over mixture, whisk to just combine and let sit for 5 minutes until mixture begins to froth.

Add flour and stir with a wooden spoon until dough comes together.  Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Prepare 2 9X9 pans with butter or Pam.  Mix baking powder, salt and flour together.  Remove plastic wrap and stir in this mixture until combined.  Turn out onto well-floured board.  Knead dough adding more flour until it loses it's stickiness.  It should not stick to the board or rolling pin.  Roll into a large rectangle about 1/2 inch thick, making sure corners are defined and even.

Spread softened butter evenly over dough.  Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle evenly over butter, pressing it in lightly.  Roll up dough to form a log, pinch the seam to close.  Cut into 1 inch slices.  Place rolls into prepared pans.  Press down lightly onto each roll.  Cover pans with  plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Brush tops of rolls with melted butter, bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.  Make glaze and drizzle over the top of the warm rolls.  Makes 16-18 large rolls.
